The rules

How it works

Four steps between you and a finished XI.

1
Pick a formation
Lock in a shape before anyone touches the pitch - every player after has to fit one of these slots.
2
Spin for your first player
Completely random. Whoever lands is the anchor for the whole chain.
3
Chain the rest
Every new player must share a nation or a club with the last - and you can't use the same link type twice in a row.
4
Battle through Europe
League phase, knockouts, two-legged ties - go the distance and try to lift the trophy.

The story

One fan, one project, endless iterations.

Impossible XI is a solo, indie project - no studio, no publisher, no roadmap dictated by a boardroom. Just a football fan who's followed Bayern Munich for the last 16 years and thought the sport deserved a few more silly, obsessive little games about it.

I hope you have 10x as much fun playing this as I had building it. Every feature started as something I thought would be fun, it ships only when it feels right, and continues to evolve with the people who play, i.e you guys. There's even an in-game wishlist where ideas are read, voted on, and sometimes make it into the game the very same week.
